Burning Flag CD EP Review

 

This being produced at the Mecca of crust (Studio 1in12), by none other than Brian from DOOM,might give you the inkling of harsh heavy sounds from this vitriolic new Halifax band. It's angry metallic punk but the stand out track is the mid-tempo stomper Strong ,which as well as Antisect and Police Bastard also looks towards Helmet and Prong for influence providing a nice counterpoint for the punky thrashy tunes either side of it.

Its all as gnarly as fuck though, with MDs vocals recalling the late Dawn Crosby (of Détente fame) and whets the appetite for the album due later in the year.
